All Cass County Public Library locations will remain closed until further notice so that we can re-open as safely as possible in the midst of the pandemic.

To support the Stay-At-Home Orders of the Kansas City metro and Cass County, all Cass County Public Library locations will remain closed through April 26th.

All Library Branches Closed Through April 5th

In an effort to be proactive in protecting the health and safety of our patrons, staff, and community during the COVID-19 outbreak, all Cass County Public Library branches will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 17th through Sunday, April 5th.

Introducing 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Starting in 2020, you can help your child prepare for Kindergarten at your local library! Cass County Public Library will offer 1000 Books Before Kindergarten at every branch. Through this program, you can help build your child’s reading skills so that they can succeed when they get to school.

Winter Reading Returns January 2nd!

Library Collects Winter Clothing for Veterans

Cass County Public Library is proud to partner with Good Shepherd Hospice to host a clothing drive from November 12th through December 17th. All donated items will benefit local homeless veterans.
