IT Library Specialist (Part-Time) – Administrative Offices
Seeking a highly motivated and solution-driven individual to join our IT team. This position works as a member of the support team responsible for operating, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the technology and telecommunications infrastructure of the library system with excellent public service communication skills. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, managing the software licensing of the library, identifying and repairing equipment problems, updating software, assisting in training staff/patrons, troubleshooting and maintenance of the patron time management software, assisting with maintenance of both the wired and wireless networks, and set up/maintenance on both audio and video systems. 48 hours computer science college credit or equivalent relevant education and/or 2 years of related job experience required. Business Assistant (Part-Time) – Administrative Offices
This position assists in carrying out the fiscal activities of the library system. The work requires excellent customer service skills, computer literacy with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. Substitute Library Assistant (Part-Time) – Genealogy Branch
Substitute library assistant. Hours vary based on needs of the branch, with on-call availability. Requirements include excellent customer service skills, computer literacy, self-starter who is ready to learn and basic knowledge of libraries. Job duties include locating items and information for patrons, assisting visitors on computers and other devices, using genealogical resources, answering genealogy-related inquiries, and answering general reference questions. Head of Centralized Services (Full-Time) – Administrative Offices
This position is responsible for coordinating activities and supervising Centralized Technical and Collection Management Services. Selection of adult print, adult and youth media, and electronic materials are a main responsibility for the library system. Supervising acquisitions, cataloging and technical services, inter-library loan, Evergreen holdings and courier delivery are included responsibilities.
This position also actively participates in the library management team, including long-range planning, problem solving and policy development. This position provides a positive, professional attitude and interacts with other employees in a friendly, courteous and respectful manner. This position also participates in and actively supports library, departmental, and consortium goals

Branch Manager I (Part-Time) – Genealogy Branch
Seeking a highly motivated library professional with excellent communication skills. The person in this position must have supervisory and research skills in order to manage the Genealogy branch, located in the Harrisonville branch. Excellent customer relations skills are essential along with proven knowledge of materials in all formats on genealogical and local history research. Should possess excellent organizational skills, report writing skills, computer literacy skills, and attention to detail. Must have strong professional skills in community speaking and providing instruction on genealogy. Should be able to meet deadlines and follow CCPL policies and procedures.
