Pleasant Hill Branch Now Open!
The new Pleasant Hill branch is now open! The branch opened Tuesday, September 12th to patrons waiting in the parking lot. While the library waits for some final work to be completed and finishing touches, the library is open in Pleasant Hill!
A big thank you to the patrons for their patience, understanding, and support as the construction of the new location has taken longer than anticipated, but very much worth the wait. Come in, say hello, and check out a book or 2, or 50! The staff at Pleasant Hill are excited to see you and cannot wait for you to explore all the new things that the building has to offer. From a variety of lounging spots, study spaces, and interactive attractions for the children – there is truly something for everyone to enjoy at the new location.
Here is a sneak peek of the new location:
The new Pleasant Hill branch will be open Monday through Thursday from 9am to 7pm, Friday from 9am to 5pm, and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. The drive-thru will be available during those times, too, so patrons can return materials and pick up requested items.
A Grand Opening event for the Pleasant Hill branch has been scheduled for Friday, September 22nd at 10:00 AM. The ceremony will include guest speakers, a ribbon cutting, and light refreshments. Cass County Public Library will also have a special performance by children’s entertainer, Mr. Brad at 10:30 AM! Additionally, an Open House is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd which will include Mad Science Performances at 10 AM and 1:30 PM as well as Face Painting and Balloon Artists by Abracadabra Extravaganza from 11 AM to 1 PM.
