New Pleasant Hill Branch Opening Soon

A date for the new Pleasant Hill branch to open to the public has not been established, but we are working to open soon. It will be located at 101 MO-7, at the corner of Cedar Street and Highway 7, at the blinking light. The open date is tentative, so keep an eye on our website for any updates. The new branch will have study rooms, a community programming room, a reading patio, dedicated spaces for all ages, a drive thru window, and more.

In order to prepare for the new location, the current Pleasant Hill branch will close after Saturday, June 17th. During the closure, holds can be transferred to the Harrisonville branch or another branch. Patrons can log into their account online and change their pickup locations. If you currently have items on hold, check your online account for their status. Until the new location opens, the Bookmobile will be at the Price Chopper, located at 2101 Missouri 7, from 5pm to 7pm each Wednesday. While there, you can browse the collection and check out items. Grab your groceries at Price Chopper and come home with new adventures. You can also return items any time at our book drop, now located at City Hall until the branch opens.

When the new branch opens, you can visit later and stay longer! The new Pleasant Hill branch will be open the following hours:

Mondays 9am to 7pm
Tuesdays 9am to 7pm
Wednesdays 9am to 7pm
Thursdays 9am to 7pm
Fridays 9am to 5pm
Saturdays 9am to 3pm
