Introducing VOX Books: A New Read Along Picture Book Collection

Cass County Public Library proudly announces the addition of a new collection of read along picture books, called VOX books, to our catalog. These books combine popular print books and audio books into one piece. Children simply push a button to begin the story. As they listen, they can read along by following cues in the audio to turn the page.

While we know reading aloud with children promotes healthy brain development and improves literacy skills, we also know it can be difficult to find time to do this regularly at home. Let VOX books help fill the gap! They are easy for children to use, are well-narrated, and do not require any other technology to operate.

The purchase of this collection is made in memoriam of Beverly Johansen, long-time Cass County resident and library patron. Ms. Johansen was a devoted supporter of the library and believed in ensuring children had access to engaging literacy resources.
