Library by Mail
Library by Mail delivers library materials via mail to homebound residents of Cass County. Patrons can qualify for this service if they are unable to visit the library due to health, mobility, advanced age, visual impairment, blindness, physical disability, or permanent/temporary incapacity.

How Can I Apply?
- Fill out the online application
- Print and fill out the Library By Mail Application and send it to:
- Cass County Public Library Attn: Library by Mail, 2121 Royal St., Harrisonville, MO 64701
- Call 816-399-5705 to request an application to be mailed
How Does It Work?
You may have up to 10 items checked out at a time and keep them for six weeks. Materials can be renewed once and there are no overdue fines, however you may be contacted by phone or letter if your materials are significantly overdue, lost, or damaged.
Get Items:
- Call us at 816-399-5705
- Email us at homebound@casscolibrary.org
- Fill out the Patron Request List provided with your most recent delivery and include it with your returns
- Fill out the online request form
Return Items:
- Return all items together
- Place in blue zippered bag
- Seal the bag with the provided zip tie
- Remove the address label from the outside pocket, turn it over, and reinsert
- Drop it in the mailbox
