Beginner’s Guide to Tracing Your Native American Ancestors

Nearly one million Americans claim some degree of Native American ancestry. However, many who wish to trace their Native American heritage only have a family story and not much hard evidence to work with, which can make genealogy research difficult. We want to help! This class will cover finding clues in basic records, the types of records to use and where to find them, and Native American record databases.
