Have you considered getting your DNA tested for genealogical purposes, but aren’t sure which company to choose? The Genealogy Branch can help you with that. Have you already received your test results, but don’t know how to understand them or use them in your research? We can help you with that, too!

This 90-minute class, facilitated by CCPL Genealogy’s Chelsea Clarke, will cover choosing a DNA test provider, the different types of DNA tests that are available, and understanding your results.

A Beginner's Guide to Genealogy

Have you always wanted to get into genealogy, but don't know where to begin? You don't have to be an expert to start researching your family! Learn how to: get started, fill out forms and charts, find and understand basic records, and access and search databases.
