Mr. and Mrs Claus visit the Drexel library

Oh, the joys of Christmas! The Drexel branch has a very important reason to be excited about the Christmas season. We get a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Each year they come for a wonderful story hour, where Mrs. Claus reads her favorite holiday books or tells delightful stories. Santa says he can listen to the stories again and again. When Mrs. Claus finishes her stories the children can sit and visit with the jolly couple. Santa always listens to the children’s wish lists and asks them if they have been good, while Mrs. Claus loves handing out candy canes. Their visit always warms our hearts and gets us really excited for Christmas Day. This year Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit on Wednesday, December 19th at 10 am. Please don’t expect the reindeer to be parked outside the library. Santa explained that reindeer are not allowed in the city limits of Drexel, so they leave them in a warm barn outside of town. Everyone is welcome to come to this special event!
