November is NaNoWriMo!

Hey, it’s almost November, it’s time to get pumped for a stressed out, caffeine filled month of sweating bullets, biting fingernails and no sleep!

No, I’m not talking about football season, the holiday season or even mid-terms! I’m talking about NaNoWriMo!

November is National Novel Writing Month and this year, the Cass County Public Library is inviting YOU and Your Students to join us as we buckle down and feverishly bash out our 50,000 word novels.

The library will be hosting a kickoff party for NaNoWriMo on October 30th at 6:30pm, weekly “Write-In” support groups, and a “Thank God it’s Over” Party on November 30th.

Since NaNoWriMo began in 1999, an incredible number of NaNoWriMos have gone on to be revised, edited and published, including, Cinder: Book One in the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.

YOU could be the next New York Times best selling author!
