It Came from the Library: Teen Read Week at Garden City

Teens invade the Garden City library this week to participate in Teen Read Week activities. Several activities that the teens have enjoyed are making Halloween goody bags, making pop tab bracelets, and entering their names in for a chance to win one of two baskets full of prizes.

In the past we have had some fun teen programs. We have decorated coffee mugs, made glow in the dark jars and made flying saucers. The theme for this year’s Teen Read Week is “It Came from the Library”. The teens did take home items that they either checked out at the library or made at one of the programs, so this theme proves fitting for the Garden City Branch.
