Fall Storytime Schedule: Storytime begins a lifetime of reading & discovery!


Bringing your children to the library’s storytime is a sure and simple way to instill a life-long love of books and learning. The excitement of storytime can begin a lifetime of reading and discovery!

Below is the schedule beginning this week for weekly storytimes in all locations September through November. We hope to see lots of little patrons at the library this Fall!

Northern Resource Center (Belton)

Toddler Storytime: This story time for toddlers encourages lots of movement and explorations of sound and rhythm…and bubbles! For toddlers 18 mos-3 yrs old and their parent or caregiver. Approx. 20 min. Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:30am.

Stay & Play: Stay after storytime and enjoy some playtime with other toddlers and parents. Fridays, 10:00am.

Preschool Storytime: Each story time includes stories, songs, finger plays and a simple craft. Approx. 45 min. For preschoolers ages 3-6. Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 11:00am.

Pajama Storytime: This is a storytime for the whole family. Wear your PJs and join us for stories, songs, rhymes and crafts. Thursdays, 6:30pm.

Harrisonville

Me & My Toddler Storytime: Make memories and build a foundation for those crucial first reading skills through stories, rhymes and songs. For children 18 – 36 months. Tuesdays, 11:00am.

Children’s Storytime: Foster a lifelong love of books and reading with fun and informative storytimes in our children’s library. Most appropriate for children through age 6. Wednesdays, 9:30am and 11:00am.

Pleasant Hill

Storytime: Weekly storytime for children of all ages. Wednesdays, 10:00am (No storytime on Wed, Sept 2).

Archie

Storytime: Join us for stories and activities. Tuesdays, 10:00am.

Drexel

Storytime: Join us for stories and activities. Wednesdays, 10:00am.

Garden City

Storytime: Join us for stories and activities. Mondays, 10:00am. (No program on Labor Day.)
