Drop-Off Tax Assistance at the Library

Update: AARP volunteers will be able to assist patrons with federal and state taxes beginning February 18th.

Tax season is upon us again. This year, AARP volunteers are still offering tax assistance for patrons, but it will be different from past years. Volunteers will be assisting with federal and state taxes by drop-off only. Patrons can drop off related tax documents at the Northern Resource Center and Harrisonville branch by appointment only. Find out when volunteers will be at each branch below.

 

Harrisonville
Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm
Thursdays from 12pm to 5pm
February 3rd – April 15th

Appointments are required. Patrons need to call 816-372-4473 to make an appointment. Related forms can be dropped off during the above hours from February 3rd through April 15th by appointment only. AARP requires patrons to wear a mask during their visit.

 

Northern Resource Center
Mondays from 12pm to 4pm
Fridays from 9am to 11:30am
February 1st – April 15th
