Brush Therapy #2

This is a strictly for fun easy acrylic painting class for ages 16 and older. There is a $20 per participant fee and all supplies are provided. This session, we will be painting Christmas bulbs hanging from an evergreen branch--a flyer is available at the library. Class size is limited to 15, so come early and reserve your canvass by signing up and paying the fee. We look forward to another fun class!

Brush Therapy

Brush Therapy is a fun relaxing way to show your talent with brushes, paints and canvass (all supplied). This project is for ages 16 and older strictly to have fun and be creative as you are guided through the steps by two great instructors, Shannon Crawford and Carla Armentrout. We will be able to choose our own color scheme while painting a beautiful cross. This class is limited to 15 participants--(ALREADY AT MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION....Second class scheduled for December 9th)

3rd Thursday Book Club

This group is a variety of adults who enjoy reading and discussing books of various genre (fiction, non-fiction, mystery, etc). At each gathering, we discuss the current book and then pass out the title for the next month. Come in and pick up a copy of our current book and join the discussion!

Basic Computer Class

This basic computer class will go over the parts of the computer, basic internet uses, and email. We will have a volunteer here for this program to help you better understand basic technology...Please contact the library at 816-987-2231, and ask for Monica to reserve your spot.

Author Event: Nancy Pickard

The Friends of Cass County Public Library present mystery author, Nancy Pickard. Nancy Pickard is a Kansas City native, and has been writing since the early 1980s. She is the only mystery author to receive all four major mystery awards: Agatha, Anthony, Macavity, and Shamus. Her 2006 novel, The Virgin of Small Plains, was nominated for 3, and won the Agatha and Macavity awards.
