Tween Book Club

This book club is for Tweens age 10 to 13. We will meet to discuss a variety of books of different types and genres--looking at the author's writing, the characters, relationships, situations, style of writing, etc. Please sign up at the Pleasant Hill Library if you are interested.

Bass County (Bates/Cass) 4-H Western Heritage Intro

The Bass County 4-H Western Heritage leaders and current participants (kids) will present an introduction to the project including the 3 different components. Each participant creates an alias and dresses to portray that alias; they learn history from the time period from 1860 to 1900; and, of course, there are opportunities to shoot based on age and experience. We will have a video presentation to help highlight the skill of these youngsters. The 4-H project is open to children ages 9 and older--join us to get more information or just a bit of entertainment for the evening!
