This beginner to intermediate level class will cover how to find the ancestors that deviated from the norm using criminal and court records, divorce records, medical records, census records, and more. It will be held in the Harrisonville Branch's computer lab. [Adult, but all ages welcome]
This beginner’s genealogy class will cover: how to discover clues in basic records (like censuses, obituaries and cemetery records, marriage licenses, and more), using these clues to expand your search, and connecting your ancestors to previous generations. It will be held in the Harrisonville Branch's computer lab. [Adult program, but all ages welcome]
Many genealogists who want to trace their British roots have trouble figuring out where to start, especially when dealing with British records. This class will focus on English, Welsh, and Scottish genealogical research, covering finding clues in basic American records, types of British records & where to find them, and British genealogy databases.
