A Beginner's Guide to British Ancestry
Many genealogists who want to trace their British roots have trouble figuring out where to start, especially when dealing with British records. This class will focus on English, Welsh, and Scottish genealogical research, covering finding clues in basic American records, types of British records & where to find them, and British genealogy databases.
This 90-minute program, facilitated by CCPL Genealogy’s Chelsea Clarke, will be held in the Harrisonville Branch computer lab. You can reserve your seat by contacting the Genealogy Branch by phone at 816.884.6285, or by email at email@example.com.
