Pride and Prejudice

"Oh! Mr. Bennet, you are wanted immediately; we are all in an uproar. You must come and make Lizzy marry Mr. Collins, for she vows she will not have him, and if you do not make haste he will change his mind and not have her."

A single man in possession of a good forturne may not be in want of a wife, but a mother with five daughters with no fortunes is in want of husbands. Mrs. Bennet  has her eye on new arrival Mr. Bingley for her eldest daughter Jane, and she would like for Lizzie to accept Mr. Collins, the heir to Mr. Bennet's estate. Only three daughters to go, but things do not go smoothly for the Bennet girls. Where does Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bingley's stiff-necked friend come in to all of this? Lizzie thinks he is arrogant and conceited, but Mr. Collins is so much worse, and she has no intention of marrying Him! And what about that handsome soldier, Wickham?
