Library Receives $22,000 Grant to Grow eBook Collection

AVAILABLE NOW! Just a few titles that are available for download to Cass County Public Library patrons.

Memo to ebook and digital audiobook users from your public library: Give us another chance!

If you’ve ever downloaded an ebook or audiobook from our website, you probably know we’ve struggled to keep pace with demand. That changes now!

We just invested over $22,000 of grant money into expanding and deepening our ebook and digital audiobook collections for you. So if you have tried our ebook collection before, we highly suggest you take a look again. We feel pretty sure you’ll find something you’ve been wanting to read that you can download immediately! That’s true if you’re looking for the latest, hottest bestselling titles, for popular young adult books, or award winning picture books for children. We added hundreds and hundreds of titles for all ages, both in ebook and audiobook formats.

Check it out. Give us another chance to be your source for ebooks and downloadable audiobooks. Be sure to login to Missouri Libraries 2 Go with your library card before you browse. The titles we added are only visible and accessible to you as a Cass County Public Library card holder.

Let us know what you think. My email is hershbergers@casscolibrary.org or call me at (816) 738-1422.

(Thank you to the United States Congress for maintaining funding to the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), the source of funding for this project, and to the Missouri Secretary of State, Jason Kander, and the Missouri State Library for distributing the funds to Cass County Public Library.)
