There’s a Mouse in the Library!

That’s right! There’s a mouse in the library, and it’s perfect for the kids. All Cass County Public Library branches and the Bookmobile now have access to ABCMouse, an early learning resource for children ages 2 to 8. This resource was made available to us at no cost, and we are excited that we can offer it to our patrons!

ABCMouse is an award-winning program with thousands of educational games, activities, and lessons. There are also hundreds of books that children can read on their own or with a family member. Children can explore reading, math, science, art, and music. They can also visit the virtual zoo or farm, take care of a hamster, and keep a virtual aquarium. In addition, children can read books, play educational games, put together puzzles, and much more. Each adventure in ABCMouse combines all of these tools to help kids succeed in learning. As kids complete lessons and activities, they earn tickets and other rewards. Tickets can be used to unlock outfits for their character, new pets, and even other games and activities.

Created by education professionals, ABCMouse is sure to be a handy learning tool for your children. Although ABCMouse is online, you don’t have to worry about ads, popups, or external links. We are proud to be able to offer this resource to our youngest patrons, and we hope that you can take advantage of it!
